A native North Carolinian, Glenda moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW. Falling in love with coastal southeastern NC, she has remained a resident for more than 30 years. Obtaining her real estate license in 1983, she has been actively engaged in various aspects of the industry. In addition to sales, her background includes commercial & residential construction, and commercial property management with duties and experience in leasing, advertising & promotion, personnel management, and accounting. Joining Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty in 2003, Glenda has been a top sales producer for the company, assisting both buyers and sellers in hundreds of transactions.
Always striving to increase her knowledge, Glenda is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, and holds the GRI designation. In addition to sales with Sea Coast, Glenda loves sharing her knowledge of the industry, and is the Professional Development Director for the company. In addition, she is an approved pre-licensing instructor for the NC Real Estate Commission. Staying on top of the industry is very important for a real estate agent, and Glenda makes that a priority in her business.
As an active member of the community, Glenda has current and past associations with St. Matthews Lutheran Church, the New Hanover County Arboretum, the National Association of Women in Construction, Coastal Women’s Investment Club, Woman’s Council of REALTORS, Wilmington Regional Association of REALTORS, the North Carolina Association of REALTORS, and the National Association of REALTORS.
In her spare time, she enjoys the arts and is an active member of the Museum on Wheels educational program at Cape Fear Academy in Wilmington. Glenda also is an avid traveler, enjoys living by the sea, is a dedicated tennis fan, and cherishes time spent with her two sons, family and friends.
